Jay draws on his extensive medical background, having refined his skills at fast-paced, high-demand institutions like the Royal Free Hospital in London and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK. He brings his management expertise to oversee the CSEST’s mission.
Dr Chamila Liyanage
Chamila is a specialist in terrorism and political violence. She examines asymmetric, grey zone, and hybrid threats, and the enabling technologies such as AI. She is a research contributor to the Global Network on Extremism and Technology (GNET) hosted by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) at King’s College, London. She is also a member of the Global Network of Experts of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime (GI-TOC), member of the Standing Group on Organised Crime (SGOC) of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), member of the Strategic Hub for Organised Crime Research Network of the Royal United Services Institute, London, fellow of the Far Right Analysis Network (FRAN), and a public member of the World Economic Forum.
